This course focuses on building a strong, hands-on foundation in Adobe Illustrator. You’ll learn how to work confidently with vector tools, draw and edit shapes, create precise paths, apply colour, and manage typography — all essential skills for professional graphic design.
We also introduce fundamental design principles like typesetting, colour theory, composition, and layout, giving you the creative confidence to turn your ideas into effective visual communication.
Once you’ve mastered the core tools, we’ll explore modern Illustrator features like Generative AI, instant vector conversions, and workflow automations — tools that can help you work faster, explore creative variations, and collaborate in real time.

Course Requirements:
If you’re on-campus, you’ll need to know how to use a computer but, other than that, just bring yourself, a notebook and pen. We provide the machines and the software.
If you’re virtual, You’ll need to have a computer and know how to use it. In addition you will also need a stable internet connection.

You will receive an Academy of Digital Arts Certificate of Completion.
