User experience design is the practice of creating digital products that genuinely work for the people who use them, combining research, strategy and design thinking to build products that are both usable and engaging. In this course you will work through the complete UX process, from understanding users and defining problems to creating personas, journey maps, wireframes and prototypes in Figma. You will develop core research skills including user interviews, surveys, card sorting and competitive analysis, building the foundation for evidence-based design decisions. In the final week you will apply your skills to usability testing, learning how to evaluate your designs and iterate based on real user feedback. You will leave with a Certificate of Completion from the Academy of Digital Arts and a UX project that shows your end-to-end design process.
In this course you will learn the following skills:
The course runs Mondays and Thursdays from 6 pm to 8 pm. On Tuesdays there will be a check-in session with the lecturer.
Over the runtime of the course you will learn everything from scratch while being instructed by a lecturer.
After the course is finished you will receive a Certificate of Completion.
You will have your project work as part of your portfolio.
