Adobe After Effects

Adobe After Effects is the go-to application for motion graphics, compositing and visual effects, used by studios and agencies across every screen-based medium. In this course you will build from the ground up, mastering the After Effects workspace, compositions, keyframes, shape and text layers, and the principles of animation. You will progress through 3D layers, camera animation, layer parenting and masking, developing the skills to produce polished, professional results in any format. In the final weeks you will explore expressions, puppet tools, motion tracking, colour correction and the render queue, giving you a complete post-production toolkit. You will leave with a Certificate of Completion from the Academy of Digital Arts and a showreel of motion work ready for your portfolio.

• AI tools: Roto Brush, 3D Workspace integration, Media Intelligence and Search Panel
• Animation with multiple layers, text layers, Illustrator integration, custom shapes and pre-composing
• Layer masking, mask modes, track mattes, chroma keying and the Roto Brush tool
• Advanced animation: 3D space, puppet tools, DUIK and character animation, render queue
• Advanced features: motion tracking, working with audio and expressions
