About the Role
The Academy of Digital Arts is seeking a strategic, creative, and data-driven Marketing Manager to lead brand growth, enrolments, and community engagement across our full-time, part-time, and short-course offerings. You’ll own the annual marketing plan, guide a small team, and run multi-channel campaigns that connect future creatives with an education they love.
Key role responsibilities
Strategic Marketing & Planning
- Develop and execute an annual marketing strategy aligned with ADA’s growth and enrolment goals.
- Conduct / validate market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and student needs.
- Manage marketing budgets, KPIs, and reporting.
Campaign Management
- Plan, execute, and optimise multi-channel campaigns (digital, social media, email, paid ads, print, events).
- Develop compelling messaging for different audiences (school leavers, young professionals, career changers, industry partners).
- Ensure consistency of brand voice and visual identity across all platforms.
Digital Marketing
- Manage website content, SEO, and analytics to drive course inquiries and enrolments.
- Oversee paid media campaigns and manage relationship with agency (Meta, Google, LinkedIn).
- Grow and engage ADA’s online community across social media platforms.
- Create and manage email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and automated journeys.
Content & Brand
- Collaborate with internal teams, faculty, and students to produce engaging content (student stories, videos, blogs, showcases).
- Ensure storytelling reflects ADA’s creative, bold, and inspiring ethos.
- Maintain brand guidelines and oversee creative production (design, copy, multimedia).
Events & Partnerships
- Plan and promote open days, exhibitions, and student showcases.
- Build partnerships with schools, industry players, and media outlets.
- Support alumni engagement and employer relations initiatives.
Team Leadership & Management
- Manage a small marketing team and freelancers (designers, copywriters, social media coordinators).
- Provide mentorship, performance management, and professional development support.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong strategic and creative thinking skills.
- Excellent copywriting, editing, and storytelling ability.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, Ads Manager, Brevo, SEO platforms, Salesforce).
- Understanding of design, creative industries, and education markets.
- Data-driven mindset with ability to interpret metrics and adjust strategy.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and creative environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field (Postgrad advantageous).
- 4+ years’ experience in marketing management, preferably in education, creative industries, or related sectors.
- Proven track record in leading digital campaigns and achieving enrolment or sales growth.
- Experience in managing budgets, teams, and external suppliers.
