Adobe Illustrator is a powerful, versatile tool for creating illus­trations for print and web.

Adobe Illustrator is a multi-purpose application for creating artwork suitable for both screen and print graphics. It is a primarily vector based program which will allow you to create detailed and scalable art for almost any use.

In graphic design, Illustrator is used to create anything from logos and business cards, to advertisements and posters. In a fashion design setting, Illustrator has become quite popular in the creation of technical drawings and renders, due to its specialised brushes and patterns. Whatever your intention, this course covers not only the Illustrator essentials, but explores a host of features that sets Illustrator apart from other vector graphic packages.

Dimitris completed his studies in Marketing, Visual Design and Digital Design. He is currently a part time lecturer and UI/UX designer for a app development agency.

Lodi Ingha

Upon completing a degree in graphic design, Lodi spent many years working on multidisciplinary projects that integrate music, storytelling and animation.

Marcus van der Westhuizen

Freelance lecturer and designer with 22 years in the industry and still loving it.

Facts, Figures and FAQ.

Course Requirements: Basic Computer Skills

You’ll need to know how to use a computer but, other than that, just bring yourself, a notebook and pen. We provide the machines and the software.

 

What do you receive at the end of the course?
You will receive an Academy of Digital Arts Certificate of Completion showing the Apple and Adobe logos, as well as your details and the details of the course you completed.

You will also receive a 2GB Flashstick, which you can keep after the completion of the course.
